Specific Giving

Some of our supporters want to support specific causes or programs. Some of the options available are:

Memorial - If you'd like to donate in memory of a pet you have recently lost or a loved one who supported animal welfare initiatives, we have several ways to make this loving gift what you feel it should be.

Legacy giving - If you find that you'd like to leave something to change the world (and possibly a little bit for tax reasons) you can contact us to arrange for including Dream Power Animal Rescue Foundation in a will or trust.

Sponsor a condo/kennel - If you aren't currently looking to adopt a pet, but want to make sure that homeless pets are able to be adopted out into loving homes, you can sponsor a kitty condo or puppy kennel for $150 a month. You will be provided with pictures and information on the puppies or kitties whose graduation from our Adopting and Receiving of Companion Animals Program, including spay/neuter, microchipping, and vaccinations was sponsored by you; and your name and picture (if you like) will be posted on the condo/kennel so that the current orphan being sponsored knows who made his/her adoption possible!

In-Kind Donations - People often think that people we help animals that we are only interested in animal related items, but this couldn't be further from the truth! Any saleable items can provide much needed funds for the organization, and some items like computers, cleaning supplies, office supplies, space heaters, and file cabinets can be used in the work we do every day

Volunteering

If you've already donated and still want to give more, we would love it if you'd like to volunteer to be a fundraiser for Dream Power Animal Rescue Foundation. Fundraisers work in teams with specific objectives such as going to 500 houses, calling 100 lapsed donors, or even throwing your own fundraising event! Email VOI@dreampower.org (Volunteer Ownership Initiative) and let us know:

  • Your age
  • Your contact information
  • What kind of team you want to create/join
  • Why you think that is the team for you
  • Why you’d be a great member of that team
  • Times/days you would be available to volunteer, and how many hours a week
  • Whether or not we already have a volunteer application for you (and waiver if under 18)
  • What motivates you to want to volunteer with Dream Power!
